A Plague Tale: Requiem is the new sequel to the journey of siblings Amicia and Hugo from developer Focus Entertainment, who released the game on October 18, 2022. This time, our heroes are heading south to start a new life surrounded by healthy people and help Hugo solve his problems with the curse.

Passage of “History and Secrets”.

In part 9 of the game, we need to help Amnesia and Hugo find a mysterious passage to a secret castle guarded by guards. The initial path lies from the statues of birds, which indicate the approximate location of the mysterious place. With the help of a clue in a secret place, our heroes understand that they need to go to the mountains. The farther they go uphill to the castle, the greater the dangers they meet on their way.

Amnesty, Hugh and Arno land on the Isle of the Cradle at the height of the annual festival. While the Count is giving a speech, Arno tries to convince Hugo to summon the rats and finish off his nemesis. Amnesia learns that Arno only saved her so that Hugo would kill the Count with rats. Arno engages the Count anyway, but Amnesia stops him before the worst happens and Arno is thrown behind bars. Countess Emily appears. She invites Hugo and Amnesia to her wonderful palace and tells about the Child of Embers and the divine child, who is worshiped by all the inhabitants of the island and herself.

At the very beginning, Amnitsia and Hugo start their journey from the palace estate. Our task will be to find a way out of the palace. To do this, you just need to find a ladder, go down and approach the guard at the door. After talking with the guard, he will allow you to leave the estate. Immediately at the exit we will be met by our old friend Sofia, who will continue the journey with us.

Task “Follow the statues of birds.”

Going down the road, Hugo notices the statue and speeds up his run to be the first to see the statue. Already near the statue, Hugo offers to go in search of treasures. Our task will be to follow in the direction of the view of the statues of birds. It is important to stop near the statue and look at it by pressing the appropriate button.

The first two statues are near the road. Having reached the craft market, you can inspect the buildings and find valuable items. To get into the secret passage, you need to interact with the obstacle, and then go through the narrow passage. Passing through the passage we will see the ruins and overgrown grass. You need to explore the area, you can find alcohol in the box. To find out more details about the ruins, you need to set fire to the grass with the “Pot of Fire”. The grass will burn out and the image drawn on the ground with stones will become visible.

Task “Get to Las Madres”.

When the grass burned down, our heroes saw a picture behind the ground made of stone. From these drawings, they understood where they needed to go next. The next point of arrival is Las Madres, we go towards the mountains along the road. On the way, you can see a beautiful place with a small fountain from the mountain, where the heroes will wash themselves and continue on their way.

A little higher is a wagon and a fire with a tent, next to a box in which you need to take supplies. Since then you will need to quietly make your way in the grass and it is possible to throw objects at different targets. The safe area will be up to the place with the goats, after them a new task will appear.

Secondary task “Avoid the guard post”.

After passing the goats, we reach a ruined house, in which there is a goat and boxes. We did not manage to get into this house. Perhaps it was necessary to throw the “Pot of Fire” into the grass next to the house, we assume that there may be a key to the door. We did not want to waste valuable shells and continued our way towards the mountain, along the road.

So, having jumped from a high place, there is thick grass ahead. Then you need to move covertly and run from one area with grass to another area in the grass. You need to run across so that the guards do not notice our heroes. At the same time, it is forbidden to use weapons against the guards.

In order not to waste precious shells, you need to ask Sophia to set fire to the grass with her device. We hold down the “Alt” button and point to the place where Sofia needs to work.

The first guard went to the right side, the second guard remains, who is looking in our direction. We ask Sophia to set fire to the grass on the left side so that the guard comes to him. At this time, we run right into the next grass.

We have 2 guards, one is watching the fire, and the other is patrolling. We set fire to the grass on the right, with the help of Sophia and go to the grass, which is closer to the building. Therefore, we quietly move from the first bush to the bush, which is located next to the building. A guard is also patrolling in the building, you need to wait until he goes towards the wall, jump over and immediately go towards the exit to the grass.

Leaving the door, immediately into the grass, we can safely go straight all the way to the next grass. After the next grass, we need to go even higher to the wall so that the guard on the right does not notice us. Then we distract the guard on the right to go to the left side closer to the wall, we set fire to the grass from which we came.

We keep moving up the left side of the grass road. Upon reaching the building, there will be 2 guards on the right, one heavily armed, the other a simple guard. Between them is a chest, which we decided not to take. To pass the area with two guards, you need to wait until the guard in heavy armor turns away and goes the other way.

At this point, you need to throw a stone towards the chest. The guard in the center will notice and go to inspect the place. Next, we jump over the fence and immediately run into the bushes to the left of the road. At the same time, it is important to try to remain unnoticed.

Task “Find another way to the shrine.”

The next section of the new task begins when the entrance to the building is visible in the distance. A guard will stand to our left and look in our direction, towards the bushes. To pass this section, you need to wait until a guard in heavy armor approaches above. Then set fire to the grass, which is located directly, closer to the entrance.

At that moment, a heavily armored guard notices the burning grass and informs his partner. While the guard is trying to put out the fire in the burning grass, set fire to the grass a few more times. When the heavily armored guard puts out the fire, another guard will come up from the left side of the road.

We need to wait for the guard by the road to start walking in our direction to inspect the bushes. Next, we are waiting for the second guard, who will follow the first guard into the bushes. Then our heroes should immediately run across to the other side of the road and hide in the nearest grass. In the bushes, we look around, jump over the fence, and then go into the house through the window.

Task “Perform the ritual.”

After jumping into the house through the window, we climb the stairs and open the door to the tower. We climb the stairs in the tower to the top and go towards the castle, immediately run into the grass. A video screensaver will turn on, where our heroes will see a woman with a child, who runs into the tent and puts on special clothes. Our heroes follow suit and also wear special clothes. We reach the fire, near which there are several more of the same people and just follow the participants.

The task is “Get to the inner chambers.”

We pass through the door to which Sofia leads us and find ourselves in the chambers of the child Basilios. We examine the throne and the surrounding location, after that we continue to walk and reach the personal chambers of the child. The room is lined with toys, a bed, and a makeshift tent. Continuing to explore, we reach the laboratory, where they might have been looking for a cure.

After a while, Sofia will announce herself and call. Amnesia and Hugo will need to find a passage to the second floor. While all doors are locked. The closest passage is behind the curtain, through the window. On the second floor, Sophia will read information from the sheets on the table, from which the heroes will understand what is happening in the past. After that, our heroes can safely leave the castle.
