To increase the chances of winning, you need to properly configure the characters and choose the right specializations.

with a spear is a melee class with a slightly longer attack range of approximately 1 square. You can turn a spearman into an attacking character or a support character, where the spearman attacks opponents from the back of a comrade or holds back opponents. In all cases, the spearman makes a significant contribution to the battlefield. You just need to decide on the desired class of spearman and understand its location.
The spearman wears medium armor and a spear weapon that provides some protection for the character, but dueling positions are not desirable. The fact is that the spearman in most cases is designed to attack from a distance of 1 cell. This distance allows you to attack enemies who are already in a duel with some comrade. At the same time, the spearman is able to fight in the forefront if such moments occur on the battlefield.

The harpooner class is designed to deal damage from a distance and the ability to hit multiple opponents. In order to hit several opponents, you need to find a suitable place, and the opponents must stand in a row. After carrying out a remote attack, it is better to hide behind the backs of your comrades. And send tanks to the attacked opponents, when the tanks enter into a duel, the harpooner can continue to safely attack the enemies.
– Second level.
Harpooner, and probably all Spearman classes, at the second level, the Glorious Support or Valorous Insolence specialization is suitable. Since the main role of the harpooner is to support comrades who fight in a duel with the enemy. Therefore, there will be a lot of moments where our harpooner will be next to an ally. Glorious Support specialization allows you to gain 1 Valor while near an ally at the end of the turn and out of combat.

The harpooner gains a basic ability at the third level, which is called “Spear Throw”. Spear Throw ability is designed to hit opponents at a distance of 10 meters, which is very attractive, especially for a melee character. At the same time, within a radius of 10 meters, you can hit several opponents standing in a row. Attacking with Spear Throw deals 11 damage to the enemy. Additionally, the Bleeding effect is applied to the first enemy that hits. Bleeding drains 20% of the enemy’s health at the end of their turn.
The distance, 10 meters, allows the character to be in an advantageous location and cover a large area for action. In addition, the first good attack significantly increases the chances of winning. Moreover, bleeding allows you to successfully deal with heavily armored opponents.

When choosing a specialization at the fifth level, you need to build on your preferred tactical actions. Considering that the harpooner can be in different positions on the battlefield, entering into battle, be next to a friend or next to the enemy. In most cases, the harpooner provides attack support to allies and is not far from the ally and can be close to the ally.

Fury of the Warcry grants a chance to increase your next attack by 50%. Before the start of the battle, it is advisable for the herald to select clusters of allies, activate the ability and continue the attack. The cost of using a Warcry is 2 Valor.

If you take into account that the herald will be next to a comrade, then you can pump the specialization “Sense of comradeship”. In this case, in passive mode, cruelty is activated, which increases damage by + 30%. The increase in damage is not significant, but it makes it possible to speed up the battle with the enemy.
Or pay attention to the Ardent Support specialization, which is triggered when the herald is next to a comrade. Suitable for moments when one of the allies is in a duel, and the herald helps with an attack. The pikeman is the support of the allies from the attacks of the opponents, where his task will be to cover and delay the opponents in one direction.

Additional attacks will only speed up the victory over the enemy and simplify the gameplay. On the battlefield, it’s tedious to just try to start making a pike move at the very last turn. Very effective against opponents that deal multiple hits in one turn.
As for the specialization “Equipment”, it is more suitable for the main ability “Wall of Spears”. If the pikeman stands next to an ally, he will activate the “Wall of spears” ability, in the other direction, and another enemy will run into this field. Thus, you can increase the damage from the ability, but there will be very few such moments. Therefore, in most cases, the use of the specialization “Community Sense” can be counted on standard attacks.

It is difficult to say how much a pikeman is needed on the battlefield, but there are times when stopping the enemy is very important.

For beginners, the Harpooner class is ideal, which almost replaces the archer. Harpooner is easy to control and allows you to make active early attacks. At the same time, it goes well with all available characters and classes. It is important to keep him away from opponents and avoid dueling. Then the harpooner will be able to provide constant support with an active attack and stay in battle longer.
The main weapon, the spear, is capable of attacking enemies at a distance of 1 cell. And this moment hints at the fact that a spearman in any class must keep his distance from opponents. If you allow a duel with the enemy, then it is desirable that the enemy be no more than medium armor and with one-handed weapons. In a long duel, the harpooner will not be able to fully provide active attacks with his ability and have an advantage on the battlefield.
– For experienced players.
The other two classes, “Gashatiy” and “Pikeman”, are suitable for experienced players and when there is already a set of teammates. The herald will help increase the damage level of an ally, which will make it more comfortable to fight in a duel. At the same time, it is advisable to pair the herald with a friend who deals a lot of damage. Pikeman allows you to deter opponents from unwanted attacks and his place is also next to an ally. Since they are dressed in medium armor and are more intended to provide support with abilities and weapon attacks.
