After completing the task and defeating the bug, Skadi gave us a reward and sent us to the next character, Lysandra, who also needs help. From the character Skadi, you can get to Lysandra in several ways, moving closer to the abyss of the mountain (left side), in the center and bypassing through the character Kalev. On the detour, through the character Kalev, the road will be the easiest, since hostile creatures are noticeably weaker. There may be a thunderstorm on the way to Kalev and other directions. It is advisable to stock up on wood, fiber and resin to build a shelter.
If you move along the central part, then along the road you will come across wasps that hit with an additional attack, poison. At the same time, the trophy from the wasps will be very attractive, this is a sting and a poisonous gland, which will require the manufacture of items. It will take a lot of bandages to move around the central part and fight the wasps. If there are bandages, then there should be no problems, besides, our character already has good armor from Skadi.
When moving closer to the cliff, there is a high probability of encountering Wolf Spider insects on the way. They are already more dangerous than a wasp or approximately similar in damage, they also attack with poison, but a little stronger. Defeating the spiders will allow you to get the “Poison Gland”, which will be required in the future. The only one of the spiders that should not be attacked is the “Black Widow”, she attacks with strong poison. Black Widow’s venom lasts for a very long time after defeating her. But, you also need to defeat her, since you can get the “Spider Head” from the “Black Widow”.

This should help heal wounds until the poison wears off. Lysandra offers to build a set of spider armor, which has normal protection, but does not allow flight. In the Skadi area, you can get a sufficient amount of gecko skin, chitin, flint and bark. A good amount of chitin is mined there, as many beetles are present. Having pleased us well in the Skadi region near the coast, we collected a sufficient amount of resources and went to the character of Drustan. In our case, a chitin ax and a poisoned club were effective, but it is quite possible to win with a hammer.

Antidote and Potion Resistance Potion.
The production of “Antidote” and “Potion Resistance Potion” will require a poison gland, seed oil and boiled toadstool. Poison gland is obtained from spiders and wasps, 1 piece falls out from one insect. Boiled toadstool can be found in the Lysandra region or in the Drustan region, if you go from it towards the house and go down to the left side of the mountain. For the fight against spiders, it is better to stock up on a good amount of bandages and “Healing Band-Aid”. It is advisable not to spend “Potion Resistance Potions” on ordinary spiders, but leave them on the boss. To defeat the boss, you will need about 3 Antidotes and about 10 Poison Resistance Potions.
Elixir of Health and Tonic of Endurance.
The elixir of health will require nectar, petal and seed oil. You can find and get these resources from the flowers “Poppy”, which should grow closer to the main tree. It is advisable to produce 2-3 cells of “Health Elixir”, which will allow you to heal 60 units in 3 seconds. Of course, you can get by with “Healing plasters” in the amount of 3-4 cells. But, 2-3 cells of the “Elixir of Health” and 2-3 cells of the “Healing plaster” are better. This should allow you to stay on the battlefield for a long time.

In our case, Chitin Ax and Poison Mace were good weapons against the Giant Spider boss. It is advisable to make the entire set of weapons with different types of damage, as this will allow you to choose a more suitable weapon.

A chitin ax can be crafted at the Workbench, for 3 silk thread, 4 processed wood, and 10 chitin. The chitin ax weapon deals 20 to 30 cutting damage. Stamina consumption is only 15 units. The durability of the chitin ax is 272 units. As a result, the Chitin Ax is noticeably better than the Flint Ax.
Poison Mace.
The Poison Mace is a melee weapon that deals bludgeoning damage, piercing damage, and an additional poison attack. Crush damage is 10 to 16, piercing damage is 10 to 16, and poison damage is 12-14. In this case, all damage is summed up if there is no resistance to some type of damage.
Of all the weapons, it is the most difficult to manufacture, as it requires a lot of complex resources. For a poisoned club, you will need: poison gland 5 pieces, insect sting 10 pieces, bark 2 pieces, twine from fibers 2 pieces and processed wood 4 pieces. Poison gland can be obtained from spiders and wasps. We get the sting of insects from bees and wasps. Everything else can be found in the vastness of Smalland. Fiber String is made from silk, which is obtained from the cocoon of spiders using the Flint Shears tool.

When everything you need has been done, you can safely go to attack the spider boss. The most suitable path is from Lysandra, clinging to the right side, towards the boss. It is advisable to move and attack during daylight hours. We do not recommend building a recovery point next to the boss, since in case of a defeat it will be difficult to get out empty-handed. Or you can build a restore point, and in case of defeat, return and quickly pick up all the buried things.
Before attacking the boss, we activate all the necessary potions, a poison resistance potion and a stamina tonic. The positive effect of the potions should be enough for the entire battle, if necessary, you need to activate tracking potions. We actively treat the health of the hero, with the help of the “Elixir of Health” and “Healing Patches”, in a pair of recovery is more effective. After defeating the spider, we pick up the trophy and return to the character Lysander. Lysandra will thank us with the recipe “Treat for the Spider” and we will be able to tame the “Wolf Spider” after preparing the recipe.
