Dark Envoy Character classes and characteristics with subclasses

In the game Dark Envoy there are 4 classes “Warrior”, “Ranger”, “Adept”, “Engineer”, all classes have passive and active skills. In addition to this, classes have additional improvements in the “Specializations” section. Each class has three types of specialization, so-called subclasses. Having subclasses significantly increase the hero’s combat effectiveness. It is important to choose the right builds and passive skills so that the character is more effective in battles.

For passive skills, 4 slots are allocated, where the skills used in battles should be. Activated skills have 5 slots for use in battles. After leveling up the skill you like, you need to drag it to the lower slots, which are intended for use in battles. At the same time, all the available active and passive skills that are available for leveling cannot be taken with you into battle. Therefore, you need to approach the choice with a special approach and select the most suitable ones, referring to your battle tactics. This will speed up victory over opponents and increase the survivability of heroes.

The article describes the Dark Envoy character classes, with an overview of the subclasses. A rough guideline for stat point distributions is also provided. This information will help you decide on the choice of subclass and increase interest in completing the game.

Clothing and equipment in the game Dark Envoy.

Heroes can be equipped with different types of armor and items that significantly increase survivability. Also, all heroes can be equipped with different types of weapons. The exception is the variety of melee and ranged weapons. In our case, for the engineer, at one period of time there was a ban on melee weapons, but closer to the middle of the game, he could easily use melee weapons. However, it is advisable to equip your characters with suitable weapons, this will allow you to stay on the battlefield longer.

It is better to equip melee weapons to the “Warrior” class, since he has a decent amount of health and good armor. In almost all cases, the warrior calmly rushed into the thick of battle and remained for a long time with a good supply of health. In second place, able to wield melee weapons normally, was the “Engineer”, but he was better off using ranged weapons. Since the “Engineer’s” survivability in close combat is not very attractive, it is also necessary to upgrade the characteristics accordingly.

But the Adept and Ranger classes must use ranged weapons. Since their health and armor are very low for battles in the front ranks. For close combat, you will have to appropriately upgrade your characteristics, after which their overall effectiveness will be weak. The fact is that “Adept” and “Ranger” play based on their skills and attacking abilities. In order for the “Adept” and “Ranger” to be effective on the battlefield, they need to pump up the “Strength” characteristic. This will allow you to deal a lot of damage from attacking abilities.

Classes in the game Dark Envoy.

Warrior class, in the game Dark Envoy.

The “Warrior” class, already at the beginning of its creation, indicates that its main position is in the forefront with melee weapons. Of course, there are positive and negative sides and in most cases relate to characteristics. Since warriors tend to fight with melee weapons, their characteristics must be upgraded accordingly. The main characteristics of the “Warrior” are “Endurance”, “Skill” and “Power”. listed characteristics will allow you to fight effectively in close combat, deal decent damage and withstand enemy attacks longer.

The secondary characteristics include “Strength”, since the supply of “Manna” is small and the skills themselves are rarely used. From the very beginning of the game you can notice that there are very few useful skills to use. Therefore, there is no interest in pumping up “Strength”. But, already from level 7, the warrior has subclasses that significantly improve the combat process. Therefore, starting from level 7, you can think about upgrading the “Strength” characteristic. However, the “Warrior” will have enough mana reserves to frequently throw attacks with abilities.

Subclasses of the Warrior class, in the game Dark Envoy.

The Warrior has three subclasses: Guard, Assassin and Blademaster. listed subclasses are designed to increase and diversify the battle on the battlefield. choice for leveling up is provided from levels 7 to 14, where you can choose one of the subclasses.

  • Subclass (specialization) “Guard”.

The “Guardian” subclass allows a warrior to be alone against everyone and go straight into the thick of opponents.  Guardian Warrior is the first to take damage and provide support to allies. Ally support can be provided through abilities such as Guard Flag and Healing Pulse. In the second case, Healing Pulse allows you to restore health to allies if they are nearby.

  • Subclass (specialization) “Assassin”.

Having upgraded the Assassin subclass (specialization), the hero can safely carry dual weapons, which is not recommended for the Guard. Since the “Guardian” has a special passive ability when wielding a shield, which increases damage. “Assassin” is more intended for mobile movement and hidden avoidance from heavy enemy attacks. But it cannot remain under frequent and heavy enemy attacks for a long time, as the “Guardian” is able to fight.

  • Subclass (specialization) “Blade Master”.

Subclass (specialization) “Blade Master”, something similar to the “Guardian”, only more independent and less supportive of allies. Can well restrain enemy attacks and inflict corresponding decent damage. At the same time, it may be able to restrain attacks on itself even better than the “Guardian”, due to the restoration of health. But in terms of attack capabilities, the “Blade Master” is definitely the leader among the subclasses (specializations) of the “Warrior” class.

Ranger class, in the game Dark Envoy.

The Ranger class is something of a sniper, has a decent set of offensive abilities, can restore health to allies and is in a mobile position. All this is achieved using the available activated abilities. The main position on the battlefield is behind the backs of your comrades. Since the health reserve is relatively low, unlike other classes. Therefore, he cannot take damage and remain under attack for a long time. Abilities that allow you to change position and have allies ready to cover you allow you to survive on the battlefield.

Subclasses (Specializations) of the Ranger class in the game Dark Envoy.

The Ranger has three subclasses: Master Marksman, Bounty Hunter and Marksman. The listed subclasses allow you to deal decent damage to enemies, depending on your pumped up characteristics. However, the main position on the battlefield remains behind the backs of comrades and serves as a support for attacks on enemies.

For the Ranger, almost all stats are a priority. But, you can choose the most suitable ones if there is a “Warrior” in the team, so that you can calmly be in the second row. It is advisable to pump up “Endurance”, “Skill”, “Strength”, and “Speed” or “Power”. “Endurance” and “Skill” increase survivability; if you have “Warrior”, you can pump up to 10 points. “Strength” makes it possible to use abilities more often and deal additional damage. “Speed” and “Power” are designed to increase the effectiveness and damage of weapons.

  • Subclass “Headhunter”.

By choosing the “Headhunter” subclass, you can significantly increase mobility, which will increase the character’s survivability. This is achieved thanks to the “Smoke Screen” ability; after use, the character jumps in a given direction and becomes invisible. Such a maneuver will make it possible to escape to a safe place, but if the opponents attack from one direction. Also, the “Headhunter” subclass allows you to control enemies and increases the hero’s defense.

  • Subclass “Shooter-virtuoso”.

The “Virtuoso Shooter” subclass is designed for maneuverable attacks while at medium distance with the enemy. At the same time, it is one of the most maneuverable among the subclasses of the Ranger and other hero classes. One of the cool features of the “Virtuoso Shooter” subclass is the ability to shoot on the move. Thanks to this, you can calmly move around the battlefield, keep your distance from opponents and inflict normal damage on them. All this makes him an excellent support for the team on the battlefield.

  • Subclass “Shooter”.

The Marksman subclass is designed to emphasize the Ranger’s role as a sniper. Capable of safely eliminating opponents from a long distance and out of reach. Can be very useful before the start of hostilities. During the battle, it is advisable to choose positions far away from enemy fighters and try not to let them get within close range. In all other respects, the Marksman can complement the Ranger class well.

Class “Engineer”, in the game Dark Envoy.

The Engineer class is almost a warrior, almost a ranger and almost a magician, something in between all classes. Can deal decent damage, stay at a distance and in close combat for a short time, provide support to allies while maintaining survivability. Much is possible if equipped with the appropriate armor and weapons. It is also important to distribute stat points correctly. The “Engineer” on the battlefield plays the role of support and attack for the entire team.

For an “Engineer,” all available characteristics may be important, but you can choose the main ones based on your playing style. It is advisable to fight with ranged weapons and wear medium armor, as it does not reduce attack speed. It is important to pump up “Strength”, since you will have to use abilities often, therefore it is the main characteristic. The secondary characteristics are “Endurance” and “Skill”, which allows you to increase survivability on the battlefield. As well as “Speed” or “Power”, which are designed to increase the effectiveness of weapon attacks.

If you wear “Heavy Armor”, your attack speed will decrease, which will make him less powerful when attacking with weapons, but more durable. This combination will allow you to be in the front ranks and attack with melee weapons. Ranged weapons with a lower attack speed can also be used. And you will have to use abilities that require pumping up “Strength”. As a result, you may need to upgrade all characteristics to at least 10 points.

Subclasses of “Engineer”, in the game Dark Envoy.

Engineer subclasses expand your capabilities and allow you to be a little more confident on the battlefield. Depending on the chosen subclass, you can increase the damage dealt by enemies or increase the role of support in the team. The expanded capabilities further convince us of the necessary leveling of “Strength” so that the skills deal more damage.

  • Subclass “Constructor”.

The Constructor subclass further expands the capabilities of the Engineer by providing several more summonable creatures. This allows you to gather an impressive army on the battlefield and increases your guarantee of victory. There are about 6 types of creatures available for summoning, from which you need to select and use them on the battlefield. It will not be possible to summon all creatures at once, since there is a limit on summons, only 4 points.

In addition to increasing the size of the team, “Constructor” can provide support to the team. In order for the “Constructor” to support the team, they will have to select the appropriate skills. For example, with the help of the “Charging Rod” and “Construct Shelter” skills, the first charges the shield, and the second regenerates health. As a result, the Constructor subclass will be the first recommended subclass for leveling at level 7.

  • Subclass “Technomancer”.

An engineer in the Technomancer subclass can greatly increase the effectiveness of skill attacks. At the same time, two-handed weapons are the main weapon and can provide additional bonuses if you use certain skills. The Technomancer’s abilities allow him to deal very high electrical damage. This is possible with the help of the Chain Lightning, Storm Front and Electric Mines skills. In addition to attacking abilities, you can increase the maximum mana reserve as a percentage due to the “Energy Relay”.

At the same time, you can further increase your attack power with skills. This point is achieved thanks to the “Secret Arsenal” passive ability, where the damage of the skill increases as a percentage of the total damage of the weapon. With two one-handed weapons and a pumped-up Strength stat, the damage can be quite impressive. Thus, the Technomancer subclass is the most powerful in dealing damage with abilities against enemies.

  • Subclass “Inquisitor”.

The Inquisitor subclass is somewhat reminiscent of a vampire with a support bias. Designed to increase the hero’s survivability. Since it provides support to allies by creating a shield around the selected one using “Deflection Shield”. It also steals lives from opponents using the skills “Unstable Sphere”, “Depletion of Life Force” and “Temptation of Life”. Passive skills allow you to increase your health, weapon damage, and skill damage.

Compared to other “Engineer” subclasses, the “Inquisitor” is more suitable as an addition when leveling up at level 14. Since his skill strength and abilities themselves are noticeably inferior to the “Technomancer” and “Constructor”. “Inquisitor” is suitable for increasing the survivability of the hero when health reserves begin to decline. When health decreases, replenishment or a kind of accelerated regeneration occurs. Due to this, the character can be under fire longer and take on enemy attacks for a certain period of time.

Class “Adept”, in the game Dark Envoy.

The “Adept” class is a magician capable of mastering the elements, controlling life and summoning creatures to the battlefield. Depending on the selected subclass, you can determine the direction of “Adept”. But, in almost all cases, his main position on the battlefield is on the second row, behind the backs of his comrades. Therefore, it is imperative to have one tank in your team, such as the Warrior, so that he can take on enemy attacks.

For “Adept” distributors, it is important to take into account that this is a magician and he must actively use his skills. Therefore, as a priority, you need to pump up “Strength” in order to increase the damage caused by your abilities. Secondary stats include Endurance and Mastery, designed to increase survivability. Additionally, you can roll “Power” or “Speed” to better shoot your weapon.

Subclasses of “Adept”, in the game Dark Envoy.

When choosing a subclass for the “Adept” at level 7, you need to build on your desired preferences and play style. Adept subclasses will expand the overall capabilities of using offensive skills or increase support functions for allies. This way you can determine its main direction.

  • Subclass “Summoning Master”.

The “Summoning Master” subclass is somewhat reminiscent of the “Design Engineer”, where it is possible to summon creatures onto the battlefield. Thanks to summoned creatures, you can increase the efficiency of the entire team and increase the chances of winning the battle. Thanks to such skills as “Tree of Redemption”, “Call of the Wild”, “Wild Djinn”, they perfectly complement the “Adept”. Since the “Adept” himself already has the ability to summon a golem to the battlefield. We can say that the “Master of Summoning” subclass may be the first to level up among the available subclasses at level 7.

  • Subclass “Healer”.

The Healer subclass is almost the same as the Summoning Master, only with different priority tasks. Its main functions are to support the team and restore their health. It is recommended to upgrade if the team does not have a tank, such as a “Warrior”, who takes attacks on himself. That is, when it is noticeable that during a battle, the team’s health is reduced to half. In this case, the Healer subclass can be as useful as possible and increase the survivability of the entire team.

  • Subclass “Elementalist”.

The Elementalist subclass is designed to enhance the attacking capabilities of the Adept. Among the available subclasses, it is the most powerful, capable of inflicting decent damage on opponents. Good skill damage comes from Prism Flares, Frost Flame Leap, Fire Breath, and Corroding Magic. In addition to attacking skills, it is advisable to upgrade passive skills that increase “Skill Strength”. Such as Energy Gathering, which increases damage if several enemies are hit by elements.
