Each tank has its own unique abilities and combat tactics.

About the special mode «Steel Hunter».

In the Steel Hunter 2020 game event, players can fight other players on special maps. In the process of game combat, pump your war horse, that is, a tank. To pump modules for a tank, you need to collect supplies dropped from a cargo plane or supplies located in different parts of the map on the territory. And also deal damage to enemies and collect trophies from them.

Each tank from the presented tanks has its own special qualities and advantages on the battlefield. The important points in the victory are pumpable modules, they can change the tactics of combat. To survive and get into the top three fighters, you will have to study the strengths and weaknesses of the existing tanks.

Features of the Polish tank Huragan.

With the advent of update 1.17, players have the opportunity to fight on the new Huragan tank. The tank has its priorities on the battlefield, but in some cases the Huragan isn’t quite as «Hurricane». He can play pranks on the battlefield, if, of course, in capable hands. You need to understand that this is a medium tank and that’s how it should be. You should not count on armor, even light tanks pierce. Therefore, it is very difficult to play.

In our case, the tank was quite surprising. For example, Huragan has one of the highest armor penetration rates. At the initial level, a 2-round drum cannon is installed, which penetrates 140 mm of armor with a basic projectile. Guns at level 7 pierce 290 mm of armor. In terms of armor penetration, the closest analogue is the Harbinger Mk. IV (UK) and Raven (US).

On the battlefield, it is often found that the Huragan tank pierces the Bái Láng light tank from China every other time in the forehead. The Bái Láng tank has the largest hull armor of 75/35/30 mm. Somehow the tier 4 gun didn’t penetrate the Chinese tank. Yes, you should not meet the Chinese tank in close combat, as he may have a full set of abilities that are much better than the abilities of the Huragan.

About pumping the Huragan tank.

1 level.

The tank has a cannon with a 2-round drum-loader that works like a mosquito bite. armor hull can be penetrated by all available tanks in Steel Hunter mode. Therefore, engaging in melee combat is not recommended. best level 1 tactic is to collect supplies and, as a last resort, shoot enemies from a distance.

2nd level. Radar for Huragan.

You can choose any of the player’s choice, referring to your game tactics. We can recommend the first option, with a cooldown of 20 seconds. So you can quickly and efficiently control the radius around the tank and more accurately know the location of supplies with enemies. The second radar will allow you to scan the territory of 510 meters and recover in 30 seconds. In our opinion, the cooldown is not very beneficial, since the tank quickly moves to the battlefield.

3rd level. Engine for Huragan.

You have to choose between power and speed. An engine with a capacity of 1450 horsepower gives a speed of 60 kilometers per hour. The speed is normal, but there are times when you need to add speed. The mobility of the tank will be decent even with heavy modules.

The second engine allows the tank to accelerate to 68 kilometers per hour, but the power will be less. Sometimes you need to quickly turn around or hide behind cover or move quickly. Here in these cases, the power of the engine is important. With less power, the tank will be a bit weak in terms of mobility.

Therefore, we recommend pumping the first engine with more power. The tank moves more confidently and faster, allowing you to quickly hide behind cover. A speed of 60 kilometers per hour is enough to collect supplies and shoot opponents from afar.

4th level. Gun for Huragan.

You can choose a cannon depending on the style of play, a regular cannon or a drum-launched cannon. A single-shot gun is certainly good in terms of dealing one-time damage per shot and reloading. And the drum is needed for good work with the Rising Excitement ability. If by the time of level 4 there is no “Growing Excitement” ability, then you can install a single-shot cannon.

The difference is that the drum needs to be charged for a while. And at the time of charging the drum, you will have to hide behind cover or fight at a distance. second weapon, a single-shot cannon, can deliver regular shots with a short projectile charge time.

At the first branch of pumping the hull and turret, the tank is quite mobile and agile. This is good for moving around the battlefield. It is also easier for a tank to hide behind covers and maneuver between terrains. It is possible to escape from dangerous terrain, but not from all tanks. Therefore, it is desirable to get to the shelter and fight on the move.

As a result, it turns out that you need to push off from the level 7 gun that we will play with. Most likely these are guns with a drum loading mechanism. In the first case, the drum will have more projectiles, but with less one-time damage of 240 units. In the second, a turret with 150 mm armor, the cannon has fewer rounds, but does 360 damage.

7th level. Improved weapons for Huragan.

As mentioned above, hull and turret modules do not give priority to durability. Therefore, the main point is the choice of a suitable tool. The tower opens up the possibility of installing a weapon module at level 7. In total, there are three types of guns to choose from, each has its own zest.

In terms of choosing guns for the Huragan, you need to build on the ability of the tank. fact is that Huragan has the ability «Increasing excitement». The “Increasing excitement” feature is that the enemy tank needs to deal constant damage with shots. In this case, the damage of the base projectile increases many times, up to 5 hits. You can organize these chips only with a drum loading gun.  need to immediately decide what is better for you, shoot more often or inflict more for one-time damage.

  • The first gun. 100 mm armata wz.62.

When choosing a turret from the first branch, improved turret rotation, the gun has 8 rounds. Penetrates 290 mm of armor and deals a one-time damage of 240 units, the damage is certainly not enough. But, on the other hand, there is a right to make a mistake, since the gun has a good supply of shells in the drum. It takes 14 seconds to recharge.

  • The third gun. 122 mm armata wz.43/50.

A turret with 150 mm armor allows you to install a drum that deals more damage per shot, 360 HP. There are 6 projectiles in the drum, which are fired at 2.5 second intervals. It takes 15 seconds to replenish a full drum.

One-time damage is less than that of a single-shot cannon. However, the third gun pairs better with Rising Excitement than the other guns on the Huragan. Our recommendation is to upgrade and install the third weapon.

Huragan tank abilities.

  • Electrical discharge.

Creates a zone that is hit by a series of low-latency electrical discharges. Each discharge deals damage and applies an effect that reduces the mobility of vehicles within the radius of destruction. Can be used at some distance from the tank.

On the battlefield, Electric Discharge does not give high priorities. Little damage is taken from enemy vehicles, and light tanks will easily leave the zone. Medium tanks also easily get out of the affected area with minimal damage. The ability well immobilizes heavy tanks, whose speed is noticeably reduced.

The Electric Blast ability is more suitable for smoking enemy vehicles out of cover. Or when retreating in narrow passages, and then if an enemy tank starts moving. If enemy tanks are already on the move, they will slip through the affected area with little damage. Arlequin airstrike is much more useful, as it takes out important modules.

Another disadvantage is the detection range of the applied ability. Other enemy tanks see the attack with the Electric Blast ability at a great distance. And since there are fights somewhere, some players like to come and be third. This significantly complicates the process of conducting a battle, since other tanks can provide additional shells.

• Increasing excitement.

Spread and aiming time indicators are deteriorating for some time, however, each penetration of enemy vehicles increases the damage dealt by projectiles. Damage can be increased up to five times. In the event of a hit without damage, a miss, a ricochet, or no penetration, the damage indicators are reset to the base values.

The ability is very good if the correct gun is installed on the Huragan tank. Since in a short period of time you need to have time to make more than 5 shots. Otherwise, the use of the ability loses its meaning, due to the fact that the attacks inflicted will be with base damage.

Compared to the similar ability that the Chinese Bái Láng has, Acid Projectile. Then, «Acid Projectile» will be much more effective, since the actual damage is very large. In addition, in most cases it works and breaks through armor.

The Huragan tank is OK, but difficult to play. main targets are medium and light tanks. It is better to run away from heavy tanks, as they have good armor from the first level. In close combat, at the first levels, he is quite capable of dealing with light tanks. If you choose the right cover for the period of reloading the drum from 2 shells.

With medium tanks Harbinger Mk. IV (UK) and Raven (US) are tough to fight. Since they have better turret armor, shells often hit it. As a result, the Huragan tank is more like a light tank in terms of game tactics. At the beginning of the game, you need to cling to the edges of the map and collect supplies. It is better not to meet enemy tanks at close range, but to shoot back at a distance. After the released drum, we run in another direction to collect supplies. It’s better not to climb into the center at all, depending on the map, since they can fire from all sides there.
