World Of Tanks The Soviet tank T 34

World Of Tanks The Soviet tank T 34 is one of the best tanks of the Second World War, combining qualities that fully meet the requirements of the combat situation. On December 19, 1939, the A-34 tank was recommended for use under the designation T-34. And the first machines left the plant only in 1941.

In 1941, the Germans had only long-range artillery against these machines (such as anti-aircraft 88-mm cannons) and guided aircraft.     When the German army had more modern PZ Kpfw 5 and PZ Kpfw 6, the T 34 tank could only battle at a distance of 600 meters, while German tanks could penetrate the armor from a distance of 1000 to 1500 meters.

Soviet designers had to rearm the tank, improve the tower and the gun itself by 85 mm (ZIS-C-53 gun), which could hit targets from a distance of 1500-2000 meters and break through 100 mm armor.

The very release of these machines began from 1940 to 1944, and a modified with an 85-mm gun (T34-85) was produced until 1946.
